چکیده

Objective: Our aim in this study was to evaluate changes the frontal QRS–T (fQRS-T) angle, which is an important indicator of repolarisation defects and arrhythmogenic predisposition, pregnant women relative non-pregnant between trimester groups. Material Methods: One hundred fifty-seven with no history cardiac or chronic disease 150 healthy as a control group were included study. PR, QRS, QT, corrected QT fQRS-T angles calculated manually. Subgroup analysis performed investigate effects on ECG 58 women, whose data all three trimesters could be accessed. Result: The mean age participants 31±7 years. heart rates 83±12 bpm 76±14 respectively (p<0.001), while fQRS–T measured 27.6°±17.7° 20.7°±6.6° (p<0.001). QRS-T angle also detected significantly decrease progression from first (34.4±15.4) second (26.5±14.8) third (23.3±20.3) (p=0.003). Gestational week had statistically significant negative correlation (r = −0.233; p=0.003). Conclusion: even if remained within normal range larger than those trimester.

The Effects of Different Walking Inclinations on Knee Angle in the Frontal Plane of Patients with Varus Malalignment

Purpose: Given the high prevalence of varus malalignment of the knee and the consequences of walking on different surfaces on this malalignment, the aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of walking inclination on knee angle in the frontal plane of patients with varus malalignment. Methods: 18 male subjects with varus malalignment classified at grade 3 bowleg, within the a...

Temporal changes in electrocardiographic frontal QRS-T angle and survival in patients with heart failure

BACKGROUND Heart failure (HF) is associated with considerable mortality. The electrocardiographic frontal QRS-T angle is a simple parameter to measure, reflects changes in the direction of the repolarization sequence and predicts outcome in patients with HF. Data regarding temporal changes in the frontal QRS-T angle in patients with HF and its impact on outcome is limited. AIM To evaluate tem...

Spatial/Frontal QRS-T Angle Predicts All-Cause Mortality and Cardiac Mortality: A Meta-Analysis

BACKGROUND A number of studies have assessed the predictive effect of QRS-T angles in various populations since the last decade. The objective of this meta-analysis was to evaluate the prognostic value of spatial/frontal QRS-T angle on all-cause death and cardiac death. METHODS PubMed, EMBASE, and the Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials were searched from their inception until June...

The Spatial QRS-T Angle: Implications in Clinical Practice

The ventricular gradient (VG) as a concept was conceived in the 1930s and its calculation yielded information that was not otherwise obtainable. The VG was not utilized by clinicians at large because it was not easy to understand and its computation time-consuming. The contemporary spatial QRS-T angle is based on the concept of the VG and defined as its mathematical and physiological integral. ...

Clinical value of different QRS-T angle expressions.

Aims Increased spatial angle between QRS complex and T wave loop orientations has repeatedly been shown to predict cardiac risk. However, there is no consensus on the methods for the calculation of the angle. This study compared the reproducibility and predictive power of three most common ways of QRS-T angle assessment. Methods and results Electrocardiograms of 352 healthy subjects, 941 surv...
